About BrahMos NG (Next Generation)
Development: The BrahMos NG is an advanced supersonic cruise missile created through a joint venture between India and Russia.
Type: It is a smaller, lighter, and more versatile and lethal version of the existing BrahMos missile.
Deployment: The BrahMos NG is designed for deployment on platforms such as the SU-30MKI, LCA Tejas, submarines, and naval vessels.
Capability: The missile can achieve speeds of Mach 3.5 and has a range of 290 km, which can be extended to 450 km.
Export Potential: India delivered the first batch of BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles to the Philippines in 2024.
Starlink

Overview: Starlink consists of thousands of satellites that orbit Earth at approximately 550 km, providing global coverage.
Advantages: Due to its low orbit, Starlink offers significantly reduced latency compared to traditional satellite services.
Aim: The goal of Starlink is to provide broadband coverage worldwide, especially in remote areas.
Benefits: Unlike fiber or cellular networks, Starlink requires no ground infrastructure for operation.
India's Position: As of now, India has not granted Starlink permission to operate within the country.
