Bose Metal is an anomalous metallic state (AMS) in which Cooper pairs form but do not condense into a superconductor.
Cooper pairs are pairs of electrons in a superconductor that behave like bosons and condense into a collective quantum state.
In this state, conductivity is neither infinite (like in superconductors) nor zero (like in insulators).
