The wet testing of the 4th Generation deep-ocean human scientific submersible ‘Matsya-6000’ has been successfully completed.
About the Samudrayaan Project
- Launched under: The Deep Ocean Mission (DOM) by the Ministry of Earth Sciences.
- DOM Overview: A Central Sector Scheme supporting Blue Economy initiatives, such as Deep Ocean Survey and Exploration, Deep Sea Mining, and more.
- Objective: To send three personnel to a depth of 6,000 meters in the ‘MATSYA 6000’ submersible to explore deep-sea resources like minerals.
- Duration: 5 years (2020-2021 to 2025-2026).
‘AI for Entrepreneurship’ Micro-learning Module
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has launched the ‘AI for Entrepreneurship’ micro-learning module.
About the Micro-learning Module
- Launched in collaboration with: National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Intel India.
- Purpose: To simplify AI concepts and foster entrepreneurial thinking among young innovators across India.
- Target: To empower 1 lakh youth by 2025, equipping them with essential skills for a technology-driven economy.
