Crustaceans: New Water Flea Species Discovered Near Pune

A new species of water flea, a crustacean from the genus Bryospilus (Indobryospilus bharaticus), has recently been discovered at Korigad Fort near Pune.

About Crustaceans
Crustaceans are primarily aquatic arthropods that use gills for respiration.
Examples: Crabs, shrimps, lobsters, crayfish, woodlice, etc.

• Export: Armenia has become the first international customer for the Pinaka system.
