About Buy/Sell Swap
- Buy Phase: The RBI purchases US dollars from banks in exchange for Indian Rupees, thereby increasing the Rupee liquidity in the banking system.
- Sell Phase: After a designated period (in this case, three years), the RBI will sell the same amount of US dollars back to the banks and receive Indian Rupees in return.
