The 75/25 initiative has currently achieved 89.7% of its goal, providing hypertension treatment to 42.01 million individuals and diabetes treatment to 25.27 million individuals.

About the 75/25 Initiative

• Launched: On World Hypertension Day 2023
• Objective: To deliver standardized care to 75 million people suffering from hypertension and diabetes by December 2025 through Primary Health Centres (PHCs).
• The initiative operates under the strategies of the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Stroke.

Large Phased Array Radar (LPAR)
China has reportedly deployed a new Large Phased Array Radar (LPAR) in its Yunnan province near the Myanmar border, significantly boosting its surveillance capabilities over India.
LPARs can track multiple targets with high precision, including ballistic missiles, and are crucial for early warning systems and air defense networks.
Unlike traditional radars that depend on mechanical rotation, LPARs employ electronically controlled antennas to scan vast areas almost instantly.
Apart from China, only the US and Russia operate similar LPAR systems.

Armenia (Capital: Yerevan)
India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Armenia to collaborate in the field of medical products regulation.
