About Sudan Virus Disease (SVD)
- Nature: SVD is a viral hemorrhagic fever that belongs to the same family as the Ebola virus disease.
- Discovery: It was first identified in southern Sudan in June 1976.
- Fatality Rate: Past outbreaks have seen fatality rates ranging from 41% to 70%.
- Transmission: The virus spreads from person to person through direct contact with blood, bodily fluids, organs, or contaminated surfaces. The risk of transmission begins when clinical symptoms appear and increases with disease severity.
- Vaccine: There is currently no licensed vaccine for SVD.

About Dokra Artwork
- Origin: The art comes from the Dhokra Damar tribes, traditional metal smiths from central India, particularly from Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha.
- Technique: Dokra artwork employs the lost-wax method, or cire perdue, for metal casting.
- Historical Significance: This craft has been practiced in India for over 4,000 years, with one of the earliest known pieces being the dancing girl figurine from Mohenjodaro.
- Themes: The artwork is inspired by nature, mythology, and everyday life.
