About Bangus Valley

• Situated within the Trans-Himalayan region of Kashmir, the valley boasts a unique ecological mix, including a mountain biome, grasslands, and Taiga or coniferous forests (such as budloo).
• The green meadows are a prominent feature of the valley.
• The principal area is known as Bodh Bangus (Big Bangus), which consists of a linear elliptical bowl. A smaller valley in the region is called Lakut-Bangus.
