About Samarth:

• Objective: The initiative aims to foster the development of sustainable and scalable business models, provide access to advanced resources, and support startups in bridging the gap from ideation to commercialization.
• Implementation Partner: The Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), a premier S&T organization under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), is the program's implementation partner.

Squad Alliance

The Philippines has called on India to join the Squad Alliance.

About the Squad Alliance:

• Description: The Squad is an informal minilateral alliance involving the US, Japan, Australia, and the Philippines.
• Objective: The alliance aims to address aggression and maintain stability in the Indo-Pacific region, among other goals.
• Difference from Quad: Unlike the Quad, which includes India, the US, Japan, and Australia, the Squad does not involve India.
